One of the best high school programs in the country (La Salle Greenhills) goes up against a rising one (UPIS).

The former is the Team B for LSGH while the latter is their UAAP Juniors squad that will see action in a few months when the UAAP high school caging gets underway.

The Greenies, coached by Allen Ricardo, fell apart late in the match (after leading by as much as 17 points) and were felled by a late English Christian Academy bucket. They run into a UPIS team, coached by former star and PBA player Paolo Mendoza, that is learning to pick up the cudgels without former star Juan Gomez Di Liaño.

You might also want to check out the San Beda (2-0) vs Kings Montessori (1-2) match at 2pm. The Red Cubs team is the one being groomed to take over from their current NCAA Juniors squad (that has been together for four years now).
